The MediSense Precision Xtra Advanced Diabetes Management System is easy to use and provides fast, accurate results. Its new shape is smaller, more comfortable and easier to hold. The Precision Xtra monitor has a large, easy-to-read display with a backlight that may be turned off and on. The strip port is easy to find and a symbol tells you when to apply blood to the test strip. The Precision Xtra blood glucose test strip also minimizes the effects of interfering agents such as aspirin, vitamin C, and acetaminophen. It also offers the simplicity of blood ketone testing in the same meter. The Precision Xtra uses MediSense Precision Blood Glucose Test Strips which are sold separately.
