Nonin Onyx Finger Pulse Oximeter Description:

The Onyx is the world's first self-contained digital finger pulse oximeter. It incorporates the electronics and the sensor into one unit. The Onyx is very small (1.3"W x 1.3"H x 2.2"L) and lightweight (2 oz). The Onyx displays numerical values for functional arterial hemoglobin oxygen saturation (%SpO2) in percentage and pulse rate in beats per minute on light emitting diode digital displays. Two AAA battery cells power the Onyx and operate it for approximately 1,600 spot checks or 18 hours of continuous operation between replacements.
