The multimedia presentation shows students the principles of lung auscultation with examples of a number of normal and abnormal lung sounds. This product also introduces the concepts of acoustic analysis. For each common lung sound, this course provides a textual description, audio playback of the sound and visualization. The visualization includes the waveform of the sound with key lung sound features marked, such as inspiration and expiration. As the sound is played-back, a cursor moves across the waveform. This synchronized cursor allows the student's eye to reinforce what is being heard.
