The Denoyer-Geppert Respiratory Organs and Heart are life-size. The heart is split in halves to show four chambers. Features include lifelike bicuspid and tricuspid valves, pulmonary arteries and veins, major vessels of systemic circulation, and esophagus. Half of left lung can be removed to show bifurcation of trachea and bronchial tree. Complete larynx with vocal cords is bisected longitudinally; right half is detachable. Emphasizes connection between respiratory and circulatory systems. Fifty-eight hand-coded features are defined in accompanying key. Mounted on a rectangular hardwood base
